Trader Joe’s Just Dropped a Candle Advent Calendar, and It’s Under $30

The lead-up to Christmas can honestly be more exciting than Christmas Day itself, especially when you have a fun and festive advent calendar helping you count down the days. And Trader Joe’s recent release may be the most fun and festive advent calendar you’ve yet to try.

Trader Joe’s just released a 12-day advent calendar filled with mini tins of the store’s best-selling candles so you can deck the halls while being surrounded by the fragrances of ruhbarb, warm vanilla, persimmon, and more.

“An exploration of 12 days of wax,” Natasha from the @TraderJoesList Instagram account wrote in the caption of a November 24 video. “I was so excited to find this! One of my favorite non-edible items from #traderjoes ever!”

The calendar is called “12 Days of Scented Candles” and it retails for $29.99.

The candle sampler, which also includes scents like lilac, lavender, eucalyptus, gardenia, spiced apple, white tea, and peach, would make a great hostess gift or a “treat yourself” buy. Why wait until these seasonal scents drop all throughout next year when you can give them all a smell test now?

Inside the box, Trader Joe’s has also included a fun “Anatomy of a Candle Flame” diagram to help you learn all the flame terminology while telling you that the candles’ soy wax blend and cotton wick flame allow for “careful consideration of all the candle flame zones.”
