Trader Joe’s Just Brought Back Its Famous $10 Kitchen Gem, and People Are Buying Three at a Time
We all know Trader Joe’s has some of the best food finds in the grocery game, but fans shouldn’t sleep on their household essentials. The grocer rotates some beautiful and seasonal candles throughout the year with scents that will please any nose. Last year, their famous crackling candles made waves not only for their smell but for the crackling wick that sounds like a fireplace. (Doesn’t that scream cozy?)
Lucky for us, Trader Joe’s just brought back the fan-favorite candles as spotted by @traderjoesobsessed on Instagram. The Crackling Citrus Green Tea Scented Candle has a wooden wick and is described as having hints of lemon, rhubarb, and rosewood. Plus, the soy-based wax blend allows the candle to burn for around 50 hours.
The unique wooden wick is what gives the candle its meditative crackling sound — ideal for a cozy night on the couch, an evening warm bath, or a date night. The candle has retailed in other seasonal scents like Red Fruits Forest for the holidays, but it seems that the green tea version is the only scent lining the shelves right now.
The 12-ounce candle is currently retailing for $9.99 and will make a great addition to your candle collection. Plus, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it could make a lovely gift for the candle lovers in your life. Or, you can store it away as a gift for a birthday, anniversary, or even Mother’s Day.
Since these crackling candles seem to come and go, you may want to snag a few while you can. And if green tea isn’t your thing, hopefully the grocer will bring back some other beloved scents – or maybe even add a few new ones. (Are you listening, Trader Joe’s?)
