This Townhome Went from Stale to Moody in Just Over a Year

Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: My cozy two-bed townhome has gone from stale to moody in just over a year.
I enjoy filling every room with some type of vintage item and warm, moody colors. I’ve become known for my love of vintage portraits and my easy DIYs.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Moody, casual, comfy, curated.
What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room would have to be my living/dining room. Due to the size of my house, my living room and dining room are in the same space.
When I moved in, I knew I wanted to have a focal wall so I installed a shiplap wall and painted it a dark green color to add some warmth. I’ve filled the space with wood tones, lots of texture, and collected items to create an inviting feel.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? I recently redid my half bath on the main floor so I bought a ton of new items for that! New vanity, mirror, lamp, and digital prints. I’m all about downloadable prints! As much as I would rather have an original vintage print there not always available. Or cheap!
Any advice for creating a home you love? Fill it with items YOU love. Trends come and go and there’s always going to be that “must have” item that everyone is going on about. But if it doesn’t speak to you or give you any kind of feelings, it doesn’t belong in your home.
