It turns out there’s a spot or two in Waco that Chip and Joanna Gaines haven’t yet covered in shiplap. This stunning mid-century home just landed on the market, and it’s a beautifully-preserved three-bed, two-and-a-half bath house that’ll have any modern design enthusiast grabbing a flight to Texas before you can say “Eames chair.” And with a price tag of $350,000, we’re guessing it’ll be snapped up pretty soon.

Built in 1958,  the 2,728-square-foot home is tucked inside a peaceful, residential neighborhood in Waco. A flat, grassy lawn out front greets you with tall, mature trees hanging overhead, and a spacious driveway. Step through the original entryway into the stone foyer, a classic trademark of mid-century design. The home features vaulted and beamed ceilings, and plenty of windows that stream in natural light.

The kitchen is a true remnant from the past, with impeccably preserved turquoise blue and wood cabinetry. It overlooks the sunken living room area, where a wood-burning stone fireplace holds center court next to walls of glass. The master suite is spacious and reminiscent of modern design, while the master bath is a spacious spot with plenty of built-in storage. The master suite also features French doors that open out to a deck area that overlooks the wooded beauty of natural Texas. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or a glass of wine at night. Another space functions as either the den or home office, with large windows and walls of built-in storage.

Outside, a covered deck and patio is the ideal spot to entertain guests with backyard barbecues. Extensive stone-work provides a dose of privacy, while the large, fenced-in yard has plenty of spots for lounging in the sunshine. Chip and Joanna, eat your hearts out. This one is ours!
