As AT’s Senior Style Editor, I cover the latest interior design trends, expert decorating ideas, and must-see home products. Whenever I’m not keeping tabs on the next TikTok “core” or buzzy IKEA collection, I’m most likely reading, online shopping, or looking for the best tacos in New York (recs are encouraged).

When it comes to luxurious-looking, contemporary pieces at comparatively lower prices, few brands rise to the occasion quite like Urban Outfitters… and their latest fall 2022 home line is no exception. The recently-launched series of furniture and decor is divided into three unique, well-designed collections — Self Loft, Mod Future, and Little Lounge — the last of which, as the name implies, has small spaces written all over it.

Little Lounge features 36 new pieces (although the full fall drop includes 139 altogether), ranging from space-saving catchalls and planters to compact takes on trendy bed, sofa, and dresser styles, just to name a few. No decorating detail has been overlooked here, even down to small-scale table lamps and candles. The color palette skews mostly neutral, but you can count on a mix of shapes and materials that cater to different design preferences. Everything’s versatile enough to function in any room or home, too, regardless of square footage.

Prices for this collection start at just $12, maxing out at $1,799 for big-ticket furniture buys. Currently, you can shop all the looks online via Urban Outfitters’ site (as well as the Mod Future and Self Loft assortments), but I went ahead and pulled some of my favorite pieces below that prioritize style and small-space solutions.

Margot Taper Candle Holder
$29

Four candles, one convenient holder: consolidate your taper collection with this plate-inspired display, which actually doubles as a catchall. A built-in indentation leaves room for jewelry or trinkets, effectively making this a space-saving dresser or nightstand must-have. It comes in an earthy terracotta hue, too, on top of the creme shown above.

Armand Storage Sofa
$1,799

Here, a stylish, compact sofa meets sneaky storage solution. Removable seat cushions reveal two hidden inner compartments with plenty of room for stashing extra blankets or pillows. From the Armand furniture collection, this curved piece clocks in at 85 inches long (read: plenty of seating space) and is available in white or turquoise.

Layla Small Tube Planter
$29

Even the Little Lounge planters have scaled-down proportions, yet are still perfectly practical, not to mention pretty. This rounded design includes drainage holes and an accompanying tray, all in your choice of speckled creme, terracotta, or green tones (or mix and match all three!). There's also a larger, taller version you might like too, depending on your plant collection.

Armand Magazine Rack
$59

No book or magazine space? No problem — work vertically and take advantage of any blank walls with this minimalist hanging magazine rack. Bring a decorative storage element to a reading nook or living room corner, and show off a few of your favorite subscriptions (or even records) between the arched sides.

Milo Side Table
$259

As someone with a tiny living room, I love any accent that can break up my predominantly rectangular furniture without feeling too bulky or oversized. This side table does just that, thanks to a circular tabletop and soft curved legs. It works well in pairs, too — flank either side of your bed with one for a simple nightstand setup, or style them side by side for a unique coffee table display.

Armand Vanity
$899

This narrow vintage-inspired set features a vanity table, mirror, and matching stool — which, if you’re really short on bedroom space, can convert into a mini WFH station, as well. Otherwise, consider incorporating a few other pieces from this collection, like the Margot Tray or Stash Box, to easily organize your beauty and perfume essentials.
