Years in: 1 year, owned

From the house tour of the cute and quirky Melbourne home of Lara Ivachev, Adrian, and their two dogs Otis and Kiku, it’s clear this is a couple that has great style. And that knack for decor extends to the road; they recently renovated a van for taking long and comfortable road trips.

The couple did every aspect of their 2014 Mercedes Sprinter van conversion themselves and documented all the steps on a video blog on their YouTube channel. Though their non-mobile home is definitely full of plants and colors and even has a bit of a maximalism vibe to it, their van is much more neutral and minimal, which makes sense because of the van’s tiny size. You can see all the smart space-saving and storage-maximizing elements they incorporated in a full tour of their van on YouTube.

The van—which they named Bigfoot—has already been road-tested. Last year the couple took a three-month trip along the east coast of Australia—visiting every “big thing” along the way. You can find more of Lara and Adrian’s fun adventures and colorful creations on Instagram.

Thanks, Lara and Adrian!
