“I moved into this apartment last year after my eight-year relationship ended. I had to move out of a home that we had renovated for four years together and into my first solo/start-over apartment at the age of 32!” begins Jess Good (@itsjessgood on TikTok), an interior stylist and vintage curator based in Minnesota, and the founder of Find Good Studio.

The most important thing for Jess in her apartment hunt was budget, and she also wanted to find a space big enough to fit all her incredible vintage furniture and decor finds. “I would have loved a place with a little more built-in character, but I knew my collection could speak for itself against the white walls and builder-grade finishes, so I wasn’t too worried!” Jess writes.

Jess describes her home's style today as "curated (collected not cluttered), warm, inviting, cool girl, eclectic, Western dive bar flair."

“My work is rooted in creating spaces that feel as good as they look: layered, eclectic, and effortlessly cool with a subtle, lived-in edge,” she writes. “I’m drawn to warm neutrals, vintage pieces with character, and interiors that come together in a way that feels personal rather than overly designed. I’m less interested in perfection and more in creating a mood: spaces that feel magnetic, a little unexpected, and genuinely good to be in.”

She’s certainly accomplished that vibe in this 750-square-foot St. Paul apartment, which she says is the first place that’s “100% mine and 100% styled by me — and during a chapter of my life where I was completely starting over, heartbroken, and picking up the pieces, I realized how important that is.”
