I love a good catchall tray. I keep one for my “out-the-door” essentials, one for my rings, and so many more throughout my apartment. I have at least 10 — but that’s normal, right?

So naturally I was intrigued when I spotted the most aesthetically pleasing checkered marble tray from HomeGoods going viral on TikTok. Here’s the thing: It seems to be sold out everywhere. But people are desperate for it — to the point where one user commented on @frassychelsea’s TikTok video, “[I]f you come across another one, plz buy it for me and I’ll cover cost, shipping, and a finders fee. I’ve been searching for a month 😭.”

TikToker @elianajalali hasn’t had any luck finding the viral tray either, posting several videos about journeying to various HomeGoods just to find it. The most recent one is captioned, “I need to find this tray!!!!”

If you also love this tray and come up empty at your local HomeGoods, I’ve found the cutest alternatives that, in my opinion, are just as great as the original viral tray.

Society6 has the coolest bamboo cutting board designed with artist SistarSprkls’ checkered marble print. Even though this is technically not a catchall or serving tray, it’s a great layering piece for a coffee table or kitchen.

And Mackenzie-Childs is selling a vanity tray that I believe is the perfect addition to any space. Instead of the gradual slope of the HomeGoods tray, this one has a distinct bordered edge, but I personally love that detail even more. It’s also a great size for styling in entryways, kitchens, or really anywhere you need an elevated trinket tray.

Whether this is your first trinket tray or you’re working on collecting your 11th like I am, these checkered marble alternatives are such fun options.
