Virtual tours are a great escape when you can’t physically go anywhere. If you haven’t tried one yet, this might persuade you: one company is willing to pay $1,000 to take digital trips of your choosing. Yes, you’ll get paid to not leave your house.

Travel company Upgraded Points is looking for one lucky person to determine the best virtual tours out there by trying 10 different ones. Better yet, they get to pick from a list of destinations where they can take their tours and get a sense of where they actually want to travel someday. In exchange for their hard work, the chosen applicant will receive $1,000 to put toward their future dream vacation.

The company does have some desired qualities in an ideal candidate. First and foremost, it’s important that this person has a passion for travel and culture, with a healthy amount of wanderlust. You should take interest in exploration, art, and adventure, and have active social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

Less exciting but nevertheless just as important qualifications include having attention to detail, which comes in handy when filling out a worksheet for each destination you “visit.” It’ll ask you why you chose a virtual tour, what you liked about it, whether or not it inspired you to actually want to travel there, and your overall experience.

You must be 18 years or older to submit an application, which involves generic information about yourself, why you like to travel, your favorite place, and why you’re the perfect candidate to compare virtual tours. Oh, and you need to be available to take all 10 virtual tours by July 30, 2020.

Make sure to send in your application by June 30, 2020, which you can do here. Bon (virtual) voyage!
