My Mom Bought 4 of Walmart’s Absolutely Huge 5-Wick Candles (for Only $37 Each!)
The very first aisle I flock to in most home stores is the one stockpiled with candles. I can’t help but pore over all the scents, and I’ll spend what feels like hours in there before making a selection. That’s why I get so excited when I hear about new candle releases that have the internet buzzing. All the different scents! The crackling versus regular wicks! The various sizes! Speaking of sizes, I’m absolutely jazzed to announce that Walmart is selling the motherlode right now.
With fall right around the corner — and visions of snuggling up with a good book and flickering candles circulating in my dreams — Walmart is selling XL candles at a fraction of the cost ($37!) compared to other luxury retailers. I’ve always wanted a dramatically large candle, and now I’m finally going to get one. I even texted my mother about it after seeing social feeds light up with this statement piece, and she ended up outrunning me to her local Walmart for almost every single scent available.
Walmart’s 5-Pound Candles Are Causing a Commotion on Social Media
Walmart is selling Better Homes & Gardens candles that have five wicks, are 100 ounces, and come in several scents. It’s no surprise that their launch is turning heads on the web. A quick search on social media brought up so many videos, like Angelina Marie’s (@angelina.thele) TikTok about how she styled her Walmart candle.
Angelina bought the Cashmere Teak scent and styled it on a black-and-white checkerboard dish. It looks so cute and perfect for fall! “Looks like I have to go to Walmart now,” one commenter said.
Other Giant Candles Range Upwards of 14x the Price
I’ve always wanted an XL candle, but I couldn’t commit to the lofty prices I saw online. For example, there’s a similarly sized option from a popular fragrance brand that’s over $500, making it 14x more expensive than the Better Homes & Gardens candle line. At just $37, the price is incredible for the size and the delicious scent options.
There are earthy scents like Salted Coconut Mahogany and Cashmere Teak, but there are also seasonal fragrances, including Farm Apple Pumpkin. If you want to get into the fall season a little bit early, consider snagging one of these XL finds. You can’t beat the price! (P.S.: My mom literally bought four and is going back for more, so you might want to order yours before she cleans out the entire inventory!)
