Walmart’s New $8 Planters Are “Too Cute” — They’re Perfect for Windowsill Gardens
If you love growing and cooking with fresh herbs during the spring and into summer months, listen up. Walmart just dropped the most adorable pots to plant your favorite ingredients in. They’re the perfect size for windowsill plants and flowers, and they come in the cutest patterns. And the best part is that each pot is just under $8, so you can grab them all to start germinating an entire indoor herb garden.
“Stop … these planters are too cute,” Krista from Walmart Finds wrote in a recent caption. “Walmart has the sweetest designs right now, and they’re perfect for a kitchen window, shelf, or little plant moment. Cherries, lemons, bees, or bows. Which one is your favorite?”
Walmart’s Spring Planters Are Perfect for Beginners
These ceramic pots from Walmart’s Mainstays brand measure just over 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall, making them the perfect size for handy seed packets, planting your propagated cuttings, or giving a new home to plants that prefer smaller pots (think succulents, cactus, and other slow-growing plants).
Each piece is also designed with a drainage hole at the bottom of the pot that comes with a removable rubber cap. You can either use the pot with a drainage tray or plate underneath, or keep the plug in and limit your plant’s watering schedule (so self-sufficient!).
As some Walmart shoppers wrote in their reviews, these pots can be used for so much more than just plants. One person said they’re using the cherry planter as a piece of kitchen decor. “Cute design. Very well made. Using it in the kitchen for utensils. Brings a little whimsy and charm to your home,” they shared on Walmart’s site.
Someone else added: “Adorable flower pot, bought it to start replacing the boring terracotta pots . … Drain hole in the bottom is a plus, because a lot of decorative pots don’t have that. It’s a very substantial weight. I highly recommend this pot.”
Whether you’re planting cooking herbs, repotting houseplants into something a bit more stylish, or even upgrading your cooking tools crock, these $8 planters are a win-win-win. Grab them at your nearest Walmart to bring a bit of springtime whimsy into your home.
