This House for Sale Takes WFH To a New Level — It Even Has a Workstation in the Bathroom
When the pandemic caused the world to shut down in 2020, many of us set up small spaces in our homes to work remotely. But one homeowner who is currently selling their house took the whole “work from home” idea to the extreme.
Sent in to the TikTok account Zillowtastrophes, the house located in Middletown, Delaware looks perfectly normal from the outside. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house is on the market for $550,000 and features a one-car garage, central air, and a spacious backyard. But one thing this house also features is computer monitors and TVs in every single room (including at least two out of the four bathrooms).
“These next homeowners in Delaware are taking ‘work from home’ to a new level,” the creator behind Zillowtastrophes said in her video.
The house does actually have a home office with three computer screens, which is totally normal. But the three massive screens in the living room, laptop workstation in the downstairs powder room, and the tech setup in the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom seem a bit overkill.
Zillowtastrophes guessed that this house is owned by podcasters or gamers. But people in the comments believe that it could be owned by either serious stock market traders or possibly streamers who stream online for 24 hours. Other signs (like the presence of paper towel rolls in every room) led some in the comments to guess that the home may be a streaming site for adult content.
The listing doesn’t say if the TVs and monitors come with the home or not, but if you’re as serious about working from home as the current owners are, then you can use their electronics layout as inspiration.
