Name: Jil
Location: Leslieville — Toronto, Ontario

The loft is in the Wrigley chewing gum factory in Leslieville, Toronto. The Wrigley has the oldest windows in Toronto and is one of the only true hard lofts left in the city. We rent out our space during the day to lots of photographers – as the space is quite open and bright.

When we moved in, we painted the entire space white to make it a clean and crisp canvas for our design style. We are both from Nova Scotia and love the outdoors which is why you see quite a bit of natural materials (wood) and plants to brighten up the space. We designed and built some specific pieces in the home – mainly the floor to ceiling fireplace and the iron french wall/door into our bedroom.
