I live in a one bedroom apartment that’s about 625sqft. My style is definitely eclectic, as I like to blend several different styles. It was very important to me that my apartment reflect the personality of my fiance and I, which is fun and very carefree.
We spend most of our time here, so our living room had to be both stylish and comfortable. I love color and bold artwork. My entire room was designed around this large cow canvas art.
The painting is so colorful and I decided to pull the blue and small hints of orange from the painting and spread around the room.
My favorite piece is this vintage framed zebra art that I got from the flea market. I LOVE zebras, so I had to have it. But, because it was already framed and matted with this leopard print matte (leopards are another one of my favorites), I knew it would shortly become one of my prized pieces.
Since our room is so small, I knew we needed to make use of the wall for storage. This shelving system is extremely convenient and houses all my favorite accessories, TV, and books, with enough space for our cable box and game consoles. I really love having items on display, but the basket under the storage system is perfect for items I don’t want on display, like DVDs, game disks, and extra blanket.
Since finishing up my living rooms space, it’s been a lot more fun to be here and it’s much more comfy with the soft and squishy pillows.
