I’m not easily impressed by the standard jewelry organizer or box options. I don’t like to display jewelry out in the open and I’m not a big fan of boxes that remind me of my teenage years. So when I stumbled upon Yamazaki’s Tosca Stacked Jewelry Box, I immediately clicked “add to cart.” Apartment Therapy has made no secret of the fact that we adore Yamazaki storage solutions, but this one really takes the cake.

This Scandinavian-inspired jewelry box is stunning. It’s simple yet stylish. It’s the best designed jewelry box that I’ve ever seen — and it’s only $27. Your run-of-the-mill earring or necklace tree usually runs around the same price. This five-tier stack-and-swivel organizer allows you easy access to your baubles. As the pictures show, you can opt to “close” the organizer and keep your jewelry out of site or leave it artfully open to show off your necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more.

If that wasn’t cool enough, it features a wood lid with a lip that can serve as a jewelry tray or as a cover to keep dust out of the top tier. You can use it to display what you’re going to wear for the day or as a spot to hold your rings.

The only drawback to this, according to reviewers, is that it’s not easily portable. It’s assembled by a single rod and the compartments swivel around it. Reviewers have said when they try to move it that it can fall apart. So if you’re just planning on keeping this organizer in one specific spot, like atop a dresser, then I’d recommend investing in it. Plus, Yamazaki has other accessory organizers in this exact Tosca style, so you can match everything.
