While many of my friends head to the Zara website to shop for clothes, I typically scope out Zara Home when I’m in the market for some new furniture or home decor. Unlike many other countries, particularly in Europe, America unfortunately doesn’t have brick and mortar Zara Home outposts. However, trust me when I say the website is still absolute gold and the next best thing to being able to shop IRL.

Zara Home has always been great about serving up the latest home trends at fairly affordable prices. You’ll find beautiful cane, woven, and plaster pieces, many of which play to a minimalist, European-modern aesthetic but can, of course, be styled however you want. I’ve purchased everything from end-of-bed benches to plant pots from Zara Home and have been impressed by the quality and craftmanship of these pieces upon receiving my orders. The brand has even expanded to offer pasta-making tools for at-home cooking! It’s always worth checking the website frequently to see what has just arrived, as inventory frequently changes. Luckily, items do get restocked as well, so if something does sell through when it’s first introduced, you still have a chance of scoring it later.

One of my favorite finds from the Zara Home website as of late? This chic table lamp, which I’ve moved all throughout my apartment simply because I love it so much. If you ask me, the silhouette couldn’t be more elegant or glam. The linen shade is beautiful and subdued, while the iron and aluminum base will add texture and personality to any vignette. Oftentimes, lampshades alone run for over $100, so I find this piece to be a pretty good deal, given that it’s a complete, stylish, and sizable table lamp that’s sturdy to boot. Whether you choose to place this piece on a dresser, desk, or nightstand, it won’t fail to make a sophisticated statement.

I’ve placed the lamp in a few different spots within my bedroom. First, it sat on my faux mantel across from my bed (as shown above), and I loved how the off-white hue complemented the marble’s subtle veining perfectly. Then, I moved it to my burl wood credenza, which doubles as my dresser (as shown below). I like decorating with black accents and found the iron base helped me to balance the lighter tones in the artwork in that section of the room. Because I stick to this type of color scheme throughout the rest of my apartment, I know this lamp will work in my living room, too, should I want to move it to a console, side table, or my living room mantle one day in the future.

While many home retailers are still experiencing relatively long lead times for shipping, Zara Home items arrive in a flash. I’ve often received my purchases within just two days — if not overnight. If you wish to return an item, you can simply mail it back with a printed return label, which makes for a seamless, flexible shopping policy. However, if you’re eyeing a Zara Home item — this lamp included — my best advice for you is to move quickly. Items tend to get sold out somewhat speedily, and while they’re often eventually restocked down the line (as I mentioned before), this may require waiting a couple of months, if not longer. So don’t delay!
