Do you ever watch a show like “Succession” or “The Morning Show,” and, as a character vacations at a vineyard or settles down with a glass of vino in their penthouse after a stressful day of being mean and being rich, think to yourself: “Ah, yes, these are the wine glasses that rich people drink from?” (Just me?!)

They’re tall with a slender stem, perfectly transparent, and have an enormous bowl with a slight angle that makes them almost mid-century looking.

Well I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to be rich to find them. You can score a set of six from IKEA for $14.99, like I did. The IKEA STORSINTs are certainly a much classier step up than the plastic cups my roommate and I drank out of for months longer than we should have after we moved — but they’re an easy swap if you’re looking to add more modern glassware to your kitchen.

According to the IKEA website, the designer of the glassware, Aaron Probe, wanted to maximize enjoyment when he designed the STORSINT’s silhouette. “I made the stems thin and smooth so that they’re comfortable to hold, and the bowl generous so that aromas and and flavors develop in the best way,” he says on the site. “I was partially inspired by the fantastic glassware at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.”

Not only does the wine glass have a pretty design, it’s also durable (made from smooth and seamless crystalline) and dishwasher safe. If you, like me, don’t have a dishwasher, I’ve found that the best way to keep the glasses from looking too cloudy or fingerprint-y on a bar cart is to follow these tips. (Drying cloths, not drying racks FTW!)

With the money you’ll save on this $15 find, you’ll have extra funds to splurge on your favorite bottle or some fun mocktail ingredients! For some other budget-friendly barware, check out these under-$10 stems or these fancy-yet-frugal finds.
