Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: My husband Dylan is an officer in the Navy, which has us moving every year or two. We got sick of renting, so we decided why not move into a fifth wheel and move our home with us? Our son Griffin is only 5 and we wanted him to appreciate a more simple life. It has been so fun designing this small space that we call home! I wanted most of the decor to be organic, so I’ve used a lot of elements such as plants, geodes, and crystals.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Modern organic bohemian.

What is your favorite room and why? Definitely the living room! I’m surrounded by green (my favorite color) and our super cozy fire place! Plus, I have a lovely window bird feeder set up next to my favorite chair, so I’m able to watch them all day!

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? This beautiful velvet green ottoman! We wanted a sectional couch, but didn’t have the space for it. This ottoman is perfect because we are able to move it around so it’s out of the way!

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? I think that would have to be making our refrigerator twice the size. It’s really small, so I have to grocery shop regularly to keep fresh food in the house.

Which fictional character would be most at home in your place? Hmmm… probably Neville Longbottom from “Harry Potter.” He could put his herbology knowledge into practice here with all of the plants and wildlife!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Draw inspiration from others, but when it comes down to it, surround yourself with things you love! Decorative styles will constantly change, so unless you want to constantly change your decor, don’t be too trendy.
