Clara’s clients had a weird little nook in their home that sat unused, just begging for something to do. They decided not to let limits on space limit their dreams, so they decided to put both a bathroom and a laundry into the same space, divided by a pocket door, and we’re screaming for joy. Not only does the remodel add functionality, it’s easy on the eyes as well. Gorgeous tile and warm wood pack a lot of character into the room, while the color scheme keeps things feeling light and breezy.

From Clara: My client just purchased a new home with a powder room on the main level that was less than stellar. There were some very unsafe stairs that led to the basement and an empty unused corner with no purpose.

We had to integrate both a laundry room and bathroom in this tiny space. Additionally, as this nook was right off the kitchen, we had to ensure that the decor was seamless with the rest of the home since it would be visible to all guests.

Mission accomplished! A laundry room that serves both its purpose, but also brings joy. Similarly, the bathroom, although small is mighty. The patterned tiles bring in interest while the wood vanity brings in the warmth (and plenty of storage).
