A publicist, a painter and an entrepreneur walk into a bar…

Well not quite, but we do all live together. In what feels like a treehouse, tucked up in the hills of Mt. Washington.

Although we are just about seven minutes away from Downtown LA, there is something about this 1920’s house that makes you feel like you are much further away than you are. We have a three and a half bedroom house with the half room serving as an artist studio.

Between the three of us, we have curated quite an eclectic greenhouse. With pieces of art from days living in San Francisco, pottery from Rachel’s childhood in Portland and our 27 house plants – we land somewhere in between mid century modern meets bohemia.

Although we own no pets, the surrounding environment provides us with visitors like birds, cats and the occasional raccoon. Our backyard allows us to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and grapes.

When deciding which room is the true favorite, we are torn between the kitchen and the front porch. Because breakfast nooks and platforms over looking Northeast L.A. are stiff competition.

Incense is just about always lit – and our door is always open if you’re into having a cocktail on the porch around sunset.

Thanks, Hannah !
