Looking at the home he’s owned for 10 years, a one-bedroom, 700-square-foot loft in Toronto, it’s clear how he’s been able to create a career centered around beautiful interiors. His style is a mix of mid-century modern-inspired lines with an organic modern color palette, and lots of warm lighting options.

“It serves as a sanctuary where I can work, create, and reset,” Abhishek continues describing of his home.

“The warmth of wabi-sabi combined with the cozy essence of hygge, results in a calming and inspiring environment. At the same time, it doubles as an office, for building a brand and growing my team.”

Abhishek completed a total gut renovation of the loft, “stripping the home down to the bare bones before rebuilding. Every area, from the entryway and office to the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom, was redone.”

Just some of the renovations in his home included turning the entryway into a compact home office, raising the ceiling in the kitchen, adding a sleek pocked door to the bedroom, and making a very cute reading nook in a corner of the bedroom closet.

But the most stunning of updates can be seen in the kitchen, which features jaw-droppingly beautiful burgundy-colored marble.

“As soon as you step into the kitchen, the Calacatta Viola naturally draws the eye and sparks conversation. To me, it’s more than a countertop — it’s a piece of art that commands the room.”
