Aldi’s “Wonderful” $3 Dessert Is Back for a Limited Time (You’ll Want Both Flavors!)
Who doesn’t love a little frozen treat when you’re picking up groceries at the store? Yes, you’ll have to grab the essentials for your weeknight meals and your packed lunches. But what about those moments late at night when you want to treat yourself to something sweet, maybe with a hot cup of tea or a glass of red wine? Aldi gets it, which is why it’s offering a new decadent dessert that you are absolutely going to want to stock up on.
Aldi is currently offering two varieties of an apple blossom dessert. If you’re not familiar, apple blossoms are sweet apple dumpling pastries. They are made with a circular pastry dough, trimmed to look like a flower, then folded vertically to hold that juicy filling.
Sold at $3.29 a box, Aldi’s apple blossom frozen desserts come in two flavors: Apple Berry Blossoms and Caramel Apple Blossoms. These desserts are made from scratch with sweet pastry filled with apples and berries, or apples and creamy caramels. Each box comes with two pastries, making them perfect for a date night dessert at home. Or for two different nights to treat yourself, especially if you pair it with this no-churn vanilla ice cream. These apple blossoms don’t require any assembling and are easy to prepare, either in the oven or in the microwave.
Shoppers are ecstatic that this dessert is back on shelves, praising them on Aldi’s Instagram post writing that they are “so good” and serving them “with vanilla ice cream takes them to another level.” “My family loves them,” writes one eager shopper. “So delicious,” writes another. Needless to say, with such rave reviews, we have a feeling this is an Aldi dessert you are not going to want to miss out on.
If you can’t find these frozen apple blossoms at Aldi, then you might as well stock up your freezer with your own apple dessert when you need something sweet in a pinch. Why not make your own mini apple confections with our favorite mini apple rose pie recipe?
