Aldi Is Selling These Outdoor Storage Gems for Only $50 (They’re So Spacious!)

Decking out your outdoor space can be expensive, but Aldi has been keeping budget-friendly shoppers fed with affordable-yet-cute gardening and patio furniture pieces from its popular Belavi line. The latest eye-catching addition is a new deck box that doubles as seating and hidden storage with up to a whopping 71 gallons of space housed inside.

Priced at only $49.99, the Belavi 71 Gallon Outdoor Deck Storage Box is a complete steal for being a patio-season hero. Measuring almost 43 inches in length, 29.2 inches in width, and 21.54 inches in height, the Aldi storage find has a lid that you can remove to store grilling items like utensils and charcoal bags, outdoor cushions and blankets, sports equipment, garden tools, outdoor games, and anything else you want to keep out of sight. The storage box also comes with rollers and handles so that you’re easily able to move it around your deck, as well as back in a garage or other storage space once summer is over.

However, if you choose to leave it outside all year long, Aldi’s Belavi deck box is labeled as “weather resistant” on its website. While they don’t specify exactly what that means, a Reddit thread of customers who bought the Belavi 80-gallon design said their two-year-old deck box is “holding up great” despite being in the elements the entire time. Others vouched that their items stayed waterproof and dry inside, including cushions and charcoal, despite keeping them outside every day. 

With its $50 price tag and significant storage capabilities (while also doubling as a bench for guests), it’s likely that — like Aldi’s other fan-favorite gardening and patio furniture pieces — this won’t stay in stock for long. Unfortunately, if you’re like me and don’t see this outdoor storage gem marked as “available,” Amazon has a pretty similar option for just $20 more. The Keter Marvel Plus 71 Gallon Resin Deck Box is priced at $70.39 and is slightly longer than the Aldi one (45.9 inches in length versus 43), but a bit narrower (15.6 inches in width versus 29.2 inches).

Also featuring a weather-resistant design with handles and wheels, the Keter Marvel features a “sturdy build” and easy assembly, according to reviewers. Amazon shoppers also called out the product as being a “great value” and holding a good amount of stuff without taking “up a lot of deck space.”
