Aldi Just Brought Back the “Amazing” Holiday Treat That Sold Out Last Year

There’s nothing like a hot beverage and a sweet treat on a cold afternoon during the holiday season. Whether it’s coffee and cinnamon rolls or hot cocoa and a pastry, it all hits the spot. But what might be even more satisfying is if we could find a way to combine them all into one delicious bite.

Seasonally, Aldi offers Pillsbury Grands! Hot Cocoa Rolls as a holiday limited-edition find at a price of $4.99. These yummy hot cocoa rolls come in the thick tubes you know from cookie dough and biscuits and they are just as easy to make and a fun idea for the upcoming extended season of entertainment and sharing treats. Just pop open the can, then place the rolls on a cookie sheet, and bake them in the oven.

Aside from the process of making them being so similar, the hot cocoa rolls look and feel a lot like cinnamon rolls, too, with the exception that they are packed with yummy chocolate instead of cinnamon, and have the addition of marshmallow icing to complete the hot cocoa experience. It’s everything we love in a hot cocoa, but in handheld, bite-ready form. Who doesn’t want to eat their hot chocolate if the opportunity arises? 

These Pillsbury Grands! Hot Cocoa Rolls also made an appearance at Aldi in 2020 and 2022, but are never around for long — but all is not lost if you don’t find them in time. They are also available in stores such as Walmart or Kroger for around the same price! 

With all this to look forward to, Christmas brunch can’t get here soon enough.
