I first introduced the Allswell Rectangle Curved Pet Bed to my family’s two mini Aussie pups, Lilly and Cooper, about one year ago. Lilly, being the baby, assumed her rightful place in the center of the bed immediately, crashed for a solid two hours, and emerged without her typical restlessness, moodiness, and attention-seeking behaviors. As it turned out, she needed a place of her own and a really, really good nap. Of course, Cooper developed a jealous habit of whining nearby every time Lilly would retreat to her Allswell bed. So, my parents did something they hadn’t yet done with any of the products I’ve tested in their home over the years…they bought another.

Allswell’s rectangle pet bed is big enough that both Lilly and Cooper could have shared if they weren’t so competitive, so cuddly doggos may enjoy just one. The bed’s surface is a hyper-soft micro fleece that, admittedly, I enjoyed napping on with Lilly when it first arrived. Its cozy cover aside, this pet bed’s interior cushioning is clearly informed by the construction of the brand’s human mattresses.

The slightly concave curve of its frame encourages lounging pups to gravitate toward the bed’s center and gives their head and neck just enough elevation and support. The side bolsters are crafted from a chipped memory foam fill that gives a little extra buoyancy and is especially comfortable for your resting dog’s head (or yours…). Soft, plush, supportive, and attractive… Allswell delivers it all with this pet bed. Looking for something a little different? They also have a new rounded style for just $28!
