Once upon a time, not so long ago, I was living in a 200-square-foot apartment with a cramped corner sink and a refrigerator for a kitchen. Suffice to say, storage was practically non-existent, save for the lone cabinet I used to stash dinnerware and small foodstuffs. That is, until I discovered an organizer on Amazon that changed everything.

If you have a sliver of space between your fridge and kitchen counter, then chances are you have room for a rolling pantry. How you ask? The Aogist 3 Tier Slim Storage Cart Mobile Shelving Unit Slide Out Storage Tower—that’s how. Measuring at just under 7 inches wide, this super slim three-tiered rolling tower can literally squeeze into the tightest of spaces and create ample storage opportunity out of thin air.

First of all, assembly was quick and easy. I snapped the plastic shelves to a handful of steel rods and wheels and voila: I had three tiers of storage shelves in under fifteen minutes. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to use it, so I started by rolling it into my bathroom to see if it would fit between my toilet and bathtub and—gasp!—it did! Next, I moved it beside my writing desk and discovered that at 27-and-a-half inches tall, it was the perfect size for stashing office supplies.

Suddenly, every inch of unused space in my apartment had storage potential, including the narrow space between the refrigerator and kitchen sink. I slid this savvy guy right into that area to see if it would fit and wouldn’t you know, it was like a glove.

Thanks to the built-in easy-grip side handles on the top shelf of the rolling cart, I carried it right over to my only kitchen cabinet and loaded it up with canned soups, spices, and condiments and just like that, I had a slide-out, three-level portable pantry for less than the cost of my weekly groceries.

The only cons were that the organizer was a little shaky on its wheels, so I saved heavier items, such as bottles of spray cleaner and olive oil, for the bottom shelf. I would also suggest you not place it right next your oven, or else it might warp, melt, or create a fire hazard if it gets too hot.

Bottom line: This inexpensive rolling cart transforms a slender slice of space into a three-tiered storage system in seconds.
