House tours are a great way to scope out trends, inspiration, and design ideas for your home. It can also be a great reminder that great style isn’t out of reach. Some people featured are all DIY or thrifted, but lots of people rely on the kinds of stores and websites millions of the rest of us use every day like Amazon, Target, or West Elm.

And speaking of Amazon, we also appreciate any help in finding hidden gems on their massive online marketplace. Here are 10 great finds–all under $50–that you might never guess came with Prime shipping.

DIY-ing a backsplash is time-consuming, not to mention not always an option in rentals. Tic Tac’s peel-and-stick tiles are affordable (one set comes with 10 12″x12″ squares) and easy to do yourself–just have a box cutter on hand to trim the tiles to fit your space and no one will guess your on-trend subway tile can be removed quickly if needed.

This is actually in a trailer, though you wouldn’t know it by this shot. Even if your home isn’t on wheels, however, these golden door pulls are even easier to install than the subway tiles.

A staircase too narrow for a dresser lead to the purchase of this garment rack, which holds a good amount of clothes without looking purely utilitarian. Another pro: since many rentals are all-white, this also won’t stick out too much.

Letter boards are hardly new, but the dark green is a fun update–and a fun inclusion in a gallery wall. Here, the green goes well with the bold colors on the rest of the wall, but you can also find a letter board to match just about any other colors that you might want to tie into your own color scheme. Just search the “felt letter board” and the color you’re looking for on (where else) Amazon.

Another shot from the same house tour as above, hanging frames can make even a small print impactful enough to anchor a wall space. As a bonus, it can be a good way to avoid custom frames for longer pieces, as long as the print is a standard length. We also had to sneak in a bonus, over-$50 Amazon buy, since her dining chairs are also courtesy of Amazon.

While this curtain might not be everyone’s taste, in a home filled with vintage and antique art pieces its a fun way to bring that theme into the bathroom. You can also see in the mirror’s reflection how well it compliments the framed yellow art on the back wall.

Proving you don’t have to sacrifice your love of the environment to get the all-white kitchen of your dreams, this vintage-inspired compost bin means even having the words “COMPOST” emblazoned on your counter can look chic.

We’ve written about how black faucets can be huge visual upgrade to bathrooms. If this particular one won’t work with your existing plumbing, see more options here.

You’ll have to click through the entire home tour to see the effect that using the same simple gold knobs throughout can have in unifying a space, but its a striking one. In the guest bedroom, picture above, two different pieces of second-hand furniture were given the same coat of paint and knobs and, ta-da, it’s transformed into a matching set. Even pieces that match less obviously will feel more “together” with the same knobs. A bonus: gold goes with just about anything.

These towel hooks are kind of hard to spot. (There they are on the far left!), but when we clicked through to the product listing we just had to include them. Easy to install, these are a minimal alternative to more decorative hooks that still manage to make a statement.
