No need to pore over (hehe) endless reviews for a solid co-sign on home goods companies that have been hiding in plain sight: the people of Reddit have already done the legwork and approved of the exquisite, minimalist Japanese home brand called Kinto.

According to Real Simple, the seemingly instant internet fandom began when a simple photo of a coffee station received an overwhelmingly positive response from members of the site’s Marie Kondo subreddit.

The image displays a simple kitchen setup that includes a wall shelf with various pans hanging beneath it, but the collective focus was on the wooden table below, which holds a potted plant sitting next to a travel mug and a coffee maker.

The latter pieces belong to Kinto, whom we’ve long admired for their refined selection of contemporary home goods, like the brand’s elegant, steel and glass tea pot-strainer combo and coffee cups, among other items. Founded in 1972, the company prioritizes durability and usability in the design of its products.

Both highlighted items in the Reddit pic live up to the company standards. Coffee lovers are sure to get a buzz off their cup of joe along with an extra kick courtesy of Kinto’s Carafe Coffee Set ($19.60) and Pour Over Kettle ($89). The understated, sophisticated brewing combo includes a dishwasher-safe, stainless steel kettle that holds 30.4 oz of liquid and features a curved, narrow spout that assists with pouring control; the coffee set includes a heat-resistant glass carafe, stainless steel and paper filters, a holder and a plastic brewer available in 10 oz. and 20 oz. sizes.

Next, there’s the Kinto travel tumbler. Its 18-8 stainless steel material protects the reusable cup from rusting, and the double walling prevents heat transfer. The travel tumbler ($33.40) is currently sold out on Kinto’s website (thanks, Redditors!), but it’s available on Amazon for $29.84. Other products are on Amazon, too, but do a price check since it’s not always the cheapest.
