Summer is just around the corner, and while I’m a sucker for iced coffee year-round, it’s officially cold beverage season for everyone else, too. If you love funky glassware, you may have seen the viral icon glasses from Anthropologie that come adorned with the most adorable designs: sardines, lemons, cherries, bows, peppers, and more. And thanks to the internet, I just discovered a brilliant hack for making the chic glass even more useful.

What Is This Brilliant Glassware Hack?

If you own a Yeti Rambler (the best-selling insulated tumbler), good news: Creator Courtney Luer found that Yeti tumbler lids fit perfectly into Anthropologie icon glasses! In this TikTok, you can see how the open glass becomes an on-the-go vessel in a pinch. It not only keeps ice from hitting your teeth when you go to take a sip (perfect for those with sensitive teeth like me), but it also makes bringing your beverage with you so much easier.

All sizes of the viral Yeti tumbler come with the same size lid (which you can also buy separately for $10) — and all different styles of Rambler fit lids of the same size. So whether you have the 10-ounce, 20-ounce, or 30-ounce tumbler, the lids will fit your Anthropologie glasses. This also means all different styles of Yeti lids can turn your icon glass into a tumbler: the classic MagSlider lid, the medium straw lid, and even the cocktail shaker lid, which all offer a leakproof seal. It’s a choose-your-own-sip adventure!

More Ways to Use This Trick

Because they’re similarly sized, you might also test your Hydroflask or Camelbak lids on your glassware, too. Of course, Anthropologie also sells glass tumblers that come with their own lids you can buy, but it’s nice to know you don’t have to go get a new one in case you already have a lid that works.

Whether you’re hosting soon, or just want to add a little flair to your at-home beverage, time to sort through your glassware and tumbler collections to see if you have anything that fits the bill — and while you’re there, you might as well try different lids in your drinking glasses. You might just stumble upon a game-changing trick that makes both items 100x more useful!
