Before & After: Broken Wardrobe Gets a Worldly Weathering
Marlane spotted this broken wardrobe at a thrift store. She decided with a little love, it could be a solid replacement for an IKEA piece. Julie’s 700 Square Foot Art Deco Minneapolis Apartment
Name: Julie Carroll Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota I live in a classic 700 square foot Art Deco apartment in Minneapolis. The building was constructed in the early 1930s and maintains much of the original charm (cast iron radiators, porcelain farm sink, crystal door knobs, and the ornate brass light fixtures.) I was drawn to the beauty and opulent architecture of this otherwise modest space. My interior styling is inspired by my Minnesota/Scandinavian heritage.
