Eric’s Fantastically Fashion Forward Apartment in a Former Convent
Name: Eric Location: Baltimore I recently relocated to Baltimore for a position at Under Armour. Baltimore is fantastic about honoring its history (homes in former cigar factories, for instance), and I happened to find a former convent that has been converted into apartments. Each of the ten apartments in the building is unique, but I happen to think mine is the most spectacular: high tin ceilings and white painted floors (due to a previous contractor’s mistake).

Before & After: Big Changes for a Little Kitchen
When Pallavi and Keyur bought their one-bedroom Murray Hill co-op, it had a couple of pretty common NYC apartment problems: a teeny-tiny kitchen, and a bedroom with nearly non-existent clothes storage. The little sliver of the kitchen that you see in the photo above was all that would fit in the picture — it was really that small. But since there was no way to expand the footprint of the apartment, to make their kitchen bigger, they had to get creative.
