Never underestimate the power of well placed chalk paint. Iuliana’s kitchen was in need of a new look and a full-blown kitchen renovation wasn’t really do-able — but she would not be deterred. The Great British Bake Off Was Here: The $6.7M Somerset Estate Is for Sale

Harptree Court in Somerset, England has a lot of history. It dates back to 1797, has over 50 acres of grounds and gardens, has been owned by the same family for the last 100 years, and oh, it was also the filming location for The Great British Bake Off. Located outside of Bristol in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Grade II Listed Georgian house is said to have been built by Charles Harcourt Masters of Bath in the late 18th century, with a 19th century addition.
