Shopping for a new sofa isn’t for the faint of heart. Style, quality, and comfort are key, but finding a couch that has all three without blowing past your budget is tough — until today. I was scrolling through Article’s Memorial Day deals when I found its Anton Sofa at a super steep discount. It’s normally over $1,000, but now it can be yours for only $659 — a steal for a sofa.

After checking out the Article showroom IRL, I can confidently say that the brand’s sofas feel as high-end as they look. I didn’t see the Anton sofa during my visit, but I feel comfortable recommending it after testing Article’s other models (they were all seriously impressive). If you’re in the market for a new sofa, this one’s too good to pass up. Here’s why.

What Is the Anton Sofa?

The Anton is a textbook mid-century modern sofa (which is Article’s specialty). Boasting clean lines, tufted back cushions, and tapered walnut legs, it packs a lot of style into a small-space friendly footprint (33x82x34). It has a corner blocked wooden frame that’s built to last and loose, foam-and-fiber-filled cushions that offer lasting support and shape. What’s more, it has slim arms and cushiony bolsters that invite guests to get comfortable.

Note: It’s only on sale in the Limestone upholstery, a light neutral beige shade that’ll play well with your existing decor. And if a beige couch makes you squeamish, Article puts its fabrics through extensive abrasion testing to keep its sofas looking as fabulous as they do the day they’re delivered.

What Article Shoppers are Saying

“I absolutely love this couch! I just moved into a new place and decided to buy a nice couch that actually matched my decor vs a cheaper one from marketplace or AFW and I’m so happy I did. This delivery and set up was easy (it’s just one big box), it’s a little more on the firm side which I like and feels like it will last, and I love the design. Can absolutely seat three comfortably and four a little snug.” —Gina B.

“I love how this couch feels when I sit on it. I would call this a minimalist couch, and that is a compliment!  After looking at so many couches at a furniture warehouse, we realized it was a wasted effort. They were ‘overstuffed’ or ‘bubbly.’  They swallowed you up and did not provide good lower back support. This couch is a joy, and it fits right in with our whole living room.” —George B.

“I LOVE my new couch! More firm than I expected but still super comfortable like everyone else says (and better for longevity). The quality is amazing, super sturdy, and it looks amazing in my space. So happy! Wish I had invested in an Article couch a long time ago.” —Leslie P.
