Shoppers Are Running to Bath & Body Works for This Cozy Bedroom Essential (Perfect for Fall!)

Part of the appeal of BookTok, a popular literary subset of TikTok, is its encouragement for everyday readers to embrace their home library dreams. As one recent viral video revealed, even Bath & Body Works is getting in on the hype. The retailer recently introduced an adorable bookcase-themed fragrance plug that’s currently taking the BookTok community by storm.

TikTok content creator Sarah Basile (@sarbasile) showed off the $26.95 find in a video, writing, “Bath and Body Works are for the book girlies this fall.”

Officially known as the Bookcase Nightlight, the plug is, naturally, modeled after a cozy home bookshelf. It features an array of tiny details, from a plant collection to a cat snoozing atop one of the shelf’s many book piles. There’s even a faux bookshelf light, which happens to sit exactly where the plug’s night light shines through.

Sarah also included clips of a few of the store’s other bookish finds, including Bath & Body Works’ new “Book Loft” scent. The fragrance contains notes of crisp bergamot, neroli, and cozy woods, and is available as either a $26.95 three-wick candle or a $7.95 Wallflowers fragrance, which conveniently fits into the library fragrance plug. 

Since Sarah shared her video on Aug. 4, the TikTok has received over 72,200 likes and 446,300 views. “This will singlehandedly resurrect me this fall 😩✨,” one TikToker commented. “When I say, I RAN TO B&B! 😍,” another commenter wrote.
