Bathrooms are something of a catch-22 when it comes to remodeling. On one hand, unless it is one solely intended for guests, not many people see it besides you and your family. But on the other hand, since it tends to be the room where contemplation occurs most naturally, thoughts often drift to how much better it could look with a bit of work. When you are remodeling a bathroom with your kids in mind, that bit of work can be mixed with a bit of fun and result in a fresh new space you won’t have to worry about for a long time.

Laura at SAHM I Am was less than enthused about the drab bathroom that was used by her two kids. Popcorn ceilings, a dated vanity and boring floor tiles were just a few of the problems. When she and her husband decided to take the plunge they envisioned a bright and cheerful space for their kids, and they achieved it in spades. From the playful green walls to the crisp white vanity, the entire room is clean and refreshing. The personal touches are the feather in the cap on this remodel. We especially like the decoupage buckets and embellished white shower curtain.

Lest you think this remodel broke the bank, Laura is very budget-minded and found great deals in all types of places. Dive into the details at SAHM I Am and get a little playfully inspired.
