That’s one sexy slipper! We love the neutral yet textured fabric Maria chose.

From Maria:

It’s exciting to undress and dress furniture. I like reaching the bones, the roots of a piece. This French Slipper Chair was very old and ugly — its padding was made of straw. I decided to accentuate its curves with cording along the edges and I replaced the ruffles with four simple folds.
