Heather’s master bedroom has a sitting area that was just crying out for a desk, but since she didn’t want to clutter up her sleeping space with visible papers, she began the hunt for a subtle secretary. It was her mom who came to the rescue and found this blue beauty at a second-hand shop.

Heather decided to personalize with paint — a coat of white followed by a custom honeycomb stencil and a hand-painted bee motif. What a cute and kicky way to give it a big dose of fun.
Heather says, “I just love how this sweet little piece turned out. Not only does it look great but it provides some storage and function to our space as well.”
