Before & After: IKEA Tray Table to Double-Decker Cat Bed

As a rule, I am fully in favor of designing one’s living space around the pets, especially if they’re cats. That’s why I loved this ridiculously easy IKEA hack that turns a neat corner table into a comfortable, two-tiered cat bed.

The IKEA Trendig tray table has two convenient, cat-sized baskets. Just by adding some comfortable cushions, Pinterest user Hanna transformed the baskets into perfect little cat beds. It’s basically a special little display stand for cats, which is adorable.

Knowing what I know of cats, this seems like the easiest hack in the world. You could probably even skip the cushions altogether and just set this table in the corner, and your baskets would be full of cats in no time. But adding the cushions surely makes it more comfortable, so adding them seems like a good idea to avoid risking the displeasure of your feline overlords.
