John had been searching for an Adrian Pearsall style sofa for a long time. As he was scouring Craigslist one day, he came across an ad that simply said, “Vintage Couch – $60.” Luckily, he took a chance and found this amazing (though horribly upholstered) sofa.

From John:

Because I’d been researching this style of sofa for months, I was pretty sure it wasn’t a real Pearsall, but I didn’t care. I’m not a label whore. After taking the bottom covering off, the only stamp I found said “D. Danielson”. I tried to find out more info, but came up with nothing. I paid $60 for the sofa and $1,100 for the new upholstery and restructuring. It took almost 4 months, but when I arrived to pick it up, I was blown away. It is EXACTLY what I wanted.Craigslist miracles DO happen.

Thank you John!
