House & Home Art Director Mandy Milks just completed a renovation of her former tenement row house, a major fixer-upper from head to toe. In the process, Mandy tackled their very blue, very tiled, and very outdated second floor bathroom. See what she did to make it simple, functional and beautiful.
Mandy used the Ace Hotel in New York as inspiration, and chose vintage-style fixtures and finishes, with warm brass accents and black trim. The result is classic and dramatic and befitting the home’s history.
Traditional sconces, and the weathered wood vanity, add to the old-school vibe.
