Does the sight above look familiar? With the array of mobile devices found in the average household, it’s increasingly common to keep many or all of these portable devices within arm’s reach. This also usually entails keeping a charging cable…or three…around for all those smartphones, tablets, and gaming devices, which could create a mess like shown above…

DIY blogger, Natalme shares how she rediscovered her tech bedside manners with a simple to replicate DIY project:

I am not willing to part with any of my devices on my nightstand either. I read on my tablet before I go to bed. I check email on my phone in the morning. And if I don’t have an MP3 player on my nightstand, there is going to be no motivation whatsoever to go walking the next day.

I needed a quick and affordable fix so here is what I came up with.

Natalme used four 3/4″ copper pipes (a favorite material of hers) and wooden house numeral (“O” or “0”, we can’t tell) and sealed it all together using sticky dots. The pipes keep all the 30-pin USB connections she needs neatly lined up and easy to access whenever she parks her array of Apple products bedside.
