Well, color us intrigued. Lettie couldn’t pass up the DIY potential of this brown, vinyl chair (especially for $4.99), but knew she needed to make one big change.

Brave Lettie spray painted the chair a lovely light blue. Spray paint! Who knew?

From Lettie:

I painted a primer coat using a Rustoleum white primer and let it dry over night. I then gave it a good coat of Valspar’s Silver Fox and also let it dry over night. I left the legs of the chair as is. Both spray paints bonded very well to the vinyl and the color looks great. The result was a chic and stylish office chair! The total cost was a whopping $14 for the chair and 2 cans of spray paint!
