Erin wanted to pack a lot of style into her small bathroom. With her eye on function and organization, she upgraded, replaced and customized her way to a space that really makes a statement.
From Erin: The old bathroom was basic and old. Because I had a small space to work with, I wanted to make a statement in my bathroom. I removed the old cast-iron tub and opted for floor-to-ceiling oversized subway tile to draw the eye up and brighten the windowless space. After living with bathroom cabinets for the majority of my life, I wanted to have a drawer system for this bathroom with hopes that it would force me to be more organized. The drawer system is from IKEA. I had the black walnut top and legs built by a local Denver woodworking artist. The wood really helps to soften the space. My new bathroom feels like an oasis, even in limited space.
