Charlotte and her family moved from NYC to the suburbs and into this sweet 100-year-old house. They loved this living room because of the bright and beautiful bay windows. Says Charlotte, “All it took was some color to brighten up the ol’ girl.”

Much better! And all it took was one chair to inspire the palette for the entire room.

From Charlotte:

The whole room came together around the chair in the window: the green walls were pulled from the foliage, the rug was handed down from my parents, the blue velvet sofa was snagged at a consignment store, and the red chairs with chevron fabric were a craigslist purchase that I painted and reupholstered. Now it’s one of our favorite ‘grown up’ rooms in the house!

Thank you Charlotte!
