Rosalind lost her first home to a fire back in February and, although heartbroken at the loss of her 1940’s home, she found a unique way to pay homage to it in her new house by reusing some of the original vintage windows that were saved.

From Rosalind:

We’re in the middle of a whole house renovation right now, so I needed to do something to get my creatives juices flowing. I thought it would be really special to honor our first home in our new house, so I wanted to use these windows in an unique way. I scraped most, not all, of the old paint off. Then I cleaned up the window panes and used a mixture of water/vinegar and mirror effect spray paint to transform the window into something so beautiful. It instantly became an antique mirror. Antique because it is 70ish years old and because I made it looked even more aged. I love the way it turned out and can’t wait to display it in our new place… as soon as all of the dust settles.
