I cover must-have home products, sales, and brand launches. Prior to working at ATM, I earned my degree in Culture Writing and Criticism from NYU, and I interned at publications like CNN Underscored, TV Insider, Texas Monthly (I'm a Dallas native), and more. When I'm not writing, I'm usually at the movies or browsing in a thrift store.

When I worked at Anthropologie in college, all of my gifts exclusively came from there. And who could blame me? On top of getting a generous employee discount, looking at all of the items over and over again on my shifts gave me a lot of time to think about what would make the perfect present for my family members. As a major bonus, I also got tons of inspiration from customers when I worked the checkout, where I must’ve been asked to wrap hundreds of gifts.

Ranging from a matching apron and oven mitt to Capri Blue candles, every piece I gifted that year was a resounding hit. Even though my Anthro employee days are behind me, I’m already planning on making a few trips to my local store for my Christmas gifts this year. (My gift-giving reputation has to remain intact, after all!) Based on my experience, there are so many amazing options that it’s no simple task to narrow down all of their offerings. But don’t fret: I’ve got you covered! Here are some home items that’ll earn you the title of best gift giver.

Another monogrammed gift that’s been a popular option at Anthro for years? This Art Deco-style mug is shockingly budget-friendly but looks totally high-end. Plus, there are several other matching options — like this dinner plate and these salt and pepper shakers — so you can give your recipient more items to build their collection over time.

I came across these molten rock coasters in-store recently, and they really look as beautiful in person as they do in the photos with the shimmering broken glass look on the inside. They come in a range of vibrant colors that’ll look perfect on a bar cart or side table.

Anthropologie

Is there anything I can say about Anthro’s signature, best-selling candle that hasn’t already been said? Volcano is a tropical, fruity scent that quite literally never gets old — and you can trust me on that, because one was burning almost every shift I worked. It helps that the vessels Volcano comes in are stunning, so it’s a stylish piece of decor as well.

Among many other things, Anthro is known for its adorable glassware that adds a little luxury to your kitchen. There are eight versions of this juice glass, with different icons ranging from hearts to rainbows, so you can personalize it to the tastes of your giftee.

I sold dozens of monogrammed felt ornaments over the holidays last year — they are an unbeatable (and affordable) stocking stuffer! The handmade look gives it an extra dose of personal flair that’s sure to go over well come Christmas.

If you’re an Anthro fan, odds are you’ve heard of the famous (and pricey) Primrose floor mirror that influencers and celebrities love. But if the huge version is understandably out of your budget, this vanity tray is an affordable option that’ll glam up your giftee’s makeup station or make for a luxe coffee table tray.

Anthropologie

If the person you’re shopping for loves to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, Anthro has a wide selection of gorgeous dishtowels that’ll match their design style. This whimsical, bright-colored set is just over $20, which is ideal if you’re on a budget but want to deliver a gift that looks and feels high quality.

Whenever I wrapped one of these throws for a customer, I was always shocked at how soft the faux fur felt — and hundreds of customers appear to be of a similar mind, according to the reviews. You really can’t go wrong with giving someone a cozy blanket, and this one will be an immediate go-to once the weather starts getting colder.

This Primrose-esque frame will make for the perfect gift, especially if you add a photo of you and your recipient to it! The Victoria frame comes in a variety of sizes and shapes and has dozens of rave reviews to boot.

Show the jewelry lover in your life that you love them with this adorable trinket dish. Its miniature size means that they’ll definitely be able to find a place for it to go, and paired with a couple of rings, it makes for a stellar stocking stuffer.

Another monogrammed gem with a personal touch, this gorgeous journal is a thoughtful gift for anyone, but especially for those that you know that like to jot things down and record what goes on in their life. Anthro is totally an underrated source for stationary!

If your giftee likes to jazz up their bar cart or indulge in a wine night, they'll fall in love with these glasses. They come across as totally ethereal with glittering edges and light-refracting textured surface.

We all have that one friend or family member that’s always baking a new sweet treat, and they’ll definitely be a fan of this Parisian-themed measuring cup set. Heck, anyone would be — it’s absolutely adorable!

This ultra-stylish find went viral on TikTok last year, and it’s no wonder why: It’s perfect for candle or interior design aficionados. The patterned glass gives it an interesting glow when lit, and even when it’s not burning, the mushroom lamp shape is eye-catching.

Pair this floral bookmark with a book that your giftee’s been dying to read, and then you’ll have the perfect present. The brass is beautiful and durable, so your bookworm recipient will be using it for years to come.
