Here’s How You Can Attend a “Bridgerton”-Themed Masquerade and Tea Party This Fall
If season one of “Bridgerton” has left you dreaming about the Royal Ball in London, you don’t have to wait until the second season premieres in 2022 to get another fix. Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa is hosting a “Bridgerton”-themed Halloween party to fulfill all of your Regency-era fantasies.
The Bridgerton Masquerade Halloween Soirée will go down on All Hallows Eve (Oct. 31) at the luxury resort in the San Diego beach town of La Jolla. The invite says to come dressed in your “best Regency-era costumes” for an evening of good food, entertainment, performances, and Bridgerton-inspired cocktails.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. PT at Estancia La Jolla’s Secret Garden, where everyone will be dressed in their best Regency-era garb. There will be unlimited bites, gin and bubbles, and live music that will go into the wee hours of the next morning. The icing on the cake is the cocktail menu, which is inspired by the character’s of the show — from the Dirty Duke Martini to Lady Whistledown’s Gimlet and Bridgerton Bramble, among others.
Tickets can be purchased a la carte for $150 per person or as part of a special Bridgerton Halloween Package offered by the hotel, which can be added onto an overnight stay. The package includes two tickets to the ball, Bridgerton cookies, two Regency-era fans to go with your costume, waived resort fee, and free parking for your chariot.
For those who can’t make it to the ball, the resort is offering Bridgerton-inspired Boozy Garden Tea Times this fall. It will involve gourmet Smith Tea selections, You & Yours Gin & Tonic, Aviation, French 75, and Etoile, plus sweet treats and savory bites. There will also be a live violinist playing today’s hits, transporting you into an episode of the show.
Just remember to be on your best behavior: Lady Whistledown will be watching!
