Recreate Camila Cabello’s Raised Bed Garden with This Walmart Dupe
Singer Camila Cabello has gotten into gardening this spring while staying in Miami, Florida. Last month on Instagram, she posted a quick garden tour of her raised bed situation and showed off her ripening crop of tomatoes and peppers, which she has laid out in a gridded raised bed. For those looking to dig into gardening but plagued with a small patio, balcony, or rooftop setup, this blocked-out raised bed is the perfect place to start.
“[I’ve] been gardening! Wearing second hand thrifted shorts!! And reading @ciaosamin salt fat acid heat,” Cabello captioned her April 26 Instagram post. “Having a good ole time.”
It looks like Cabello has a vine of beefsteak tomatoes going, as well as a cherry tomato plant and a variety of green peppers growing (and flourishing) in their own respective boxes.
Although Cabello’s raised bed is likely a custom-built grid, Walmart is currently selling a similar setup. It’s called the Vita Garden Bed, and it comes in several different sizes. It’s made with weather-resistant vinyl and includes slots in the corner posts so that you can expand your garden in the future by adding another garden bed.
Raised beds aren’t just useful for keeping your veggies and herbs organized, but they are also the perfect solution for poor soil conditions and for residences without backyards. Simply install a raised bed where you want your garden to grow and fill with hearty, nutrient-rich soil.
As long as you’ve placed your raised bed in an area with ample sunlight, shade, and access to water, you should have beautiful, delicious veggies like Cabello’s tomatoes and peppers growing in no time.
