“Chewy is a phenomenal company, when my dog passed away this last February they sent us a hand painted portrait of her that has sat on her ashes ever since. Much love!” one person replied.

One user emailed to see if they could return an unopened bag of cat food, and they received a heartfelt email from a service representative, explaining the process and offering a full refund. A few days later, a bunch of flowers arrived.

“…As if that wasn’t enough, today my doorbell rings and it’s a delivery guy with a really nice vase of flowers and a sympathy card from a local florist, sent from the same Chewy rep that processed our refund,” the Reddit user wrote. “The whole response has been kind of unbelievable.”

Another took to the site to share their positive experience with the company.

“ sent us a sympathy flower arrangement when they learned about the passing of our 10-year-old Labrador, Forrest.” they said, along with a photo of the flowers.
