We all dream of having a design pro come in our homes and make it HGTV ready. After all, when you spend time sitting in front of the TV watching homes get renovation after renovation, it’s hard not to jump in on the fantasy. And clearly, we aren’t alone—in just the United States, 730,000 people watch HGTV every day.

But when it comes to which design star we’d have take over our property, opinions tend to be a bit polarizing. Porch, a free home network where homeowners and home professionals can connect, surveyed over 1,000 people about the top 5 celebrities who they would want to be on their home design “dream team,” and here are the results:

Barn doors and shiplap for everyone! Coming in the number one slot is none other than HGTV alums Chip and Joanna Gaines, who rose to fame with their beloved show “Fixer Upper.” Even though the duo has moved on to greener pastures (they’ll have their own network soon) they still managed to come in first place when it comes to who respondents want renovating their home.

In the number two slot is Drew and Jonathan Scott, of the popular show “Property Brothers.” Ty Pennington, known for the longtime hit (and soon to be rebooted) “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,”  scored the number three slot. In number four is “Love It or List It” design diva Hilary Farr, who charms viewers with her British sass and extensive knowledge of utilizing space. And in an interesting twist for the number five slot is none other than… Oprah Winfrey.

She’s followed by Kon-Mari Method founder Marie Kondo at number six, then Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at number seven. They’re trailed by Ellen DeGeneres at number eight, reality TV star-turned-cosmetics-tycoon Kylie Jenner at number nine, and “Queer Eye” star Bobby Berk closing out the top ten.

If you’re curious why the top ten seems to vary between design stars and just flat out major celebrities, here’s an explanation. While 67 percent of respondents named a TV designer as their top celebrity pick, famous TV personalities like Winfrey were a close follow. It just goes to show that no matter what industry they specialize in, viewers feel an intense closeness with their favorite TV personalities, even if their fame had nothing to do with interior design. In fact, for stars like Dwayne Johnson and Kylie Jenner, the stats showed that people voted for them simply out of a desire to meet them, and basic attributes like physical attractiveness.

You can see more of the survey, including favorite design styles, over on Porch. The data for the survey was collected using the Mechanical Turk Service from Amazon. Out of the 1,001 total respondents, 469 identified themselves as men, and 532 identified as women.
